New, Unique and Exciting Tourist Attractions in St David

Theresa's Backyard Garden
'We grow what we eat... and eat what we grow'
Theresa’s backyard garden boasts yams, dasheen, bananas, parsley and thyme, lemon grass, black sage and nutmeg.

Many of the fruits and vegetables grown in the garden are native to Grenada. others came from far off places as Tahiti, Brazil, Asia, Hawaii and West Africa.

Come and see, touch and taste a wide selection of fruits, vegetables and herbs that are an important part of our local daily culinary and medicinal traditions.

What a fabulous idea. Everyone is turning to organic foods now and this is such a simple thing to do. Please add some more posts about your experience with this idea.

There is nothing better than home grown. I used to have a vegetable garden in my backyard, I think I am going to make a small one again. Thank you for your blog, I shall keep watching.

Hi Teresa, Your place in Grenada is absolutely stunning. This is my hearts passion but I seem to be bogged down in issues with family to be doing what you are doing but I envy you greatly in a nice way of course. I love nature and you seem to live in paradise. Teresa re our site fotoforfree.com.au and wanting to put a photo on it. We were down for awhile as we have had dreadful floods over here in Australia and it effected our telecommunications for awhile so we were down. I just wanted to let you know that. We are back up now and the floods are still causing big problems down in New South Wales and our beaches on the Sunshine Coast have been severely battered. I guess it is a sign of the times. There is a lot of heartache around and too many questions - big problems. That is why looking at your paradise is so heartwarming and the simple life. Enjoy Grenada and maybe one day I will get over there. Send me an email if you wish. Gail from Australia gaile266@hotmail.com
